What to know before your hunt

What to expect

  • One of our guides will call you within 24 hours of your booking
  • Breakfast and dinner will be served in the field on the cabin package
  • We make no guarantee of harvest, weather, or animal activity
  • Hunts begin at 11:00am and end at 1:00PM on the last day of the package
  • We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule a hunt
  • Minimum of two hunters required per hunt
  • 50% deposit per person due at booking
  • Hunt should be paid in full 24 hours prior
  • Deposit nonrefundable when canceled by hunter

What to bring

  • Your California hunting licence and the appropriate tags. The hunt will not begin without proper tags or paperwork
  • Your weapon of choice. Talk it through with your guide when you book
  • Sleeping gear and a backpack, plus anything else your guide asks for
  • A full equipment list is provided when you book

Licences, stamps, validations, tags, shooting hours and bag limits are set by the state and change from season to season. We hunt the Balance of State zone. Check what applies to your hunt with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife before you travel, and call us if you are unsure. Your guide will go through it with you when they call to confirm.
